I was pleasantly surprised by my recent stay at City's Hostel in Ponta Delgada. The staff was very welcoming and the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. The hostel had a cozy patio where I could relax, and the well-stocked kitchen was a great convenience. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and a good hairdryer. Despite some minor drawbacks such as noise from other guests and a lack of fresh air due to the air conditioning, I overall had a pleasant experience. I would recommend City's Hostel for its central location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms.

The place is super clean, and the staff really goes out of their way to help you. The location is perfect, close to the centre but far enough to avoid all sorts of noise. The owner even provided a bicycle for me to explore the town. The service was excellent overall.

The customer service was exceptional, with prompt email replies and helpful staff who offered guidance on parking and driving directions. The hostel was clean and well-maintained, with regularly mopped staircases and hallways. The common areas were spacious and bright, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were large, with bright rooms and high ceilings. The key-code access system was modern and convenient. Additionally, the hostel had good wifi connectivity.
The room size was a bit small, and there were some issues with the duvet cover leaking. It was also disappointing to discover that the room booked with a balcony did not have one initially.
